Yoni Yardeni

What’s my name?

I’m Yoni, and I won’t be offended if you pronounce that wrong! I’m a writer from Los Angeles. I know, so original, right?

My love for writing began in third grade, after I strung together a story about a concert so massive it caused two (2) volcanoes to erupt. Later that week, my teacher called me to her desk to discuss the protagonist’s name, Dimebag Darrell, and why it wasn’t appropriate for my wacky little tale, forcing me to rewrite it.

From that day, I learned not only to accept feedback, but also what a dime bag is.

I kept filling notebooks and typing away for the next ten years, hoping that one day I could do it for a living.

Fast-forward another decade, and I’m grateful to say I’ve done just that. Since 2020, I’ve written copy for world-class sports leagues and teams like the NBA and LA Dodgers, plus dozens of humble brands in between, working across fashion, tech, and wellness. On the editorial side, my words have appeared in Women’s Wear Daily, Engadget, HiConsumption, and other publications.
